Suede over heels | Wedding OOTD

I love a good wedding, it was the second wedding of the year and a good one to end with. This time around I was prepared with what to wear compared to the previous one I attended in July, I saw that Carli Bybel Missguided collection relaunched again and I had to get my hands on the Faux suede harness detailed midi dress grey, I was worried that it wouldn’t fit but luckily it did which I was thankful for, I had all the outfit planned out and ready a week before hand and trust me this felt amazing.
The wedding was something different to what I had experience before and when I meant different I meant it in a good way, everyone met up at a bar near as a meeting point which I thought was a cool idea, the bride did good on giving out a fake time of the ceremony starting, as she knew people would be late, specially the Portuguese we always seem to arrive late for most things, everyone started to make their way to the park where the Ceremony was held at, as it was a blessing and not longer than half hour everyone was standing watching them give their speeches to each other and becoming Mr and Mrs.
For the celebrations it was held inside an old Church, where myself and the boyfriend got sat with people we never met before and some he has on a night out (grooms friends) which I liked the idea they mixed both side of the family and friends together, gave an opportunity to meet new people and I guess get you out of your comfort zone, there where amazing speeches from the best mans and the brides family and friends, there where so much dancing and food going around, it was a great night.
Once the wedding finished there was an after party, we didn’t go to it because my in-laws where leaving in the morning to go back to Portugal and we wanted to say goodbye and spend some more time with them, while everyone else enjoyed themselves at the after party which I’m sure by this point most where already drunk haha!. Before myself and the boyfriend went home we ended our night with a trip to McDonalds at half 1 in the morning as you do, by this point you can pretty much tell we slept in the next day.

Anita and Green pink sleeveless trench coat, £16 from New Look. The sleeveless blazer I’m wearing I bought in New Look on sale around July and I couldn’t find it anywhere but I did find this which is closer one to it.

Makeup I wore.
I started of my prepping my face with Benefit moisture prep toning lotion (I didn’t have a moisturiser so this is what I use instead), as I’m attending a wedding I needed my makeup to last the whole day so I wore Benefit the Pore Sessional primer, used this mainly around my nose, forehead and chin where I get shinny.
For concealer I use Collection lasting concealer in warm medium 2 and I used a Real Techniques beauty blender to blend it with.
For Foundation I used Nars All Day Luminous, sheer glow foundation in valorise, I used my RT sculpting brush, I find that this is the right brush to blend my foundation with, gives me a flawless coverage.
For under eye and all highlight points I used Nars radiant creamy concealer in Custard and I used a RT beauty blender with it.
For the eyes, I used Avon eyeshadow primer in light beige and I just used my left ring finger to blend it with.
For eyeshadow I decided to give the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette a try, as a base I used Bootycall and I used the brush that comes with the palette and I used the flat side to apply the base, for the crease and outer corners I used Tease with a Mac 217 to blend it all together then I went over with Chopper to give it more of a glow.
For the centre of the eyelids I used the New Look baked eyeshadow in 91/Bronze to give it more of a glow and I used the Urban Decay brush as well.
Underneath the lower lash line I used snakebite from the naked 2 palette and I used the same flat  edge brush and to finish the eyeshadow I went over the crease with a Mac 217 and the busted in the naked 2 palette and blended any harsh edges.
For eyeliner I used Mac bewitchment pen eyeliner never again will you have in black.
For eyebrows I used Benefits brow shaping kit in medium I only used the powder with a RT bold metals 202 brush I wanted a soft brow not too harsh all though my eyebrows are thick so it’ll come out bolder than planned.
For contouring I used Sleek contouring and brush palette in light and I used the brown shade to contour my cheek bone with a RT bold metals 301 to blend it out and for my nose I used same shade but with a RT bold metal 200.
For highlighter I used Sleek highlighting palette in solstice and I used Equinox for under the eyebrow, nose and cheeks and inner corners of my eyes and I used the RT fan brush for cheeks and nose and RT 200 for the rest.
For blush I used Sleek flushed with a RT bold  300. For mascara I used YSL in black (don’t know the name of the liner).

For hair I wanted to go for more of a simple look, I went for straight but added some loose waves to give it a bit of volume and not to look too boring, I also used Percy & Reed Quite Frankly Flawless finishing polish to control friz and baby hair loose baby hair.
