In the last few months I been obsessing over 7 skincare products that I gravitate to the most, I am always trying to products seeing whats works and what doesn’t but I always find myself going back to the ones that are my holy grail and works for me.
I thought I would share my favourite skincare products and if you like me and always on a hunt for a new skincare product maybe I could help.
As part of a 3 for 2 offer in Boots I had to get 3 of the Soap & Glory products, its honestly my favourite shower products, they work and always leave my skin feeling amazing.
I have tried different Shower gels from Soap & Glory expect this one, the Clean, Girls, skin softening creamy body wash. It contains natural vanilla fruit and orchid extracts, plus a built-in moisturising metrix. It is rented with their Mist You Madly fragrance.
My skin always feel soft and moisturizer when I use this product. I have used this products every time I shower and I am always surprised that my bottle is still full, I tend to use it with a shower buff or a couple of pumps on my hand.
I was on a hunt for a good mask that regained moisture in my dry dull skin as well help with pours and scaring from old spots. I have seen so many influencers bragging about GlamGlow and their new faces masks that I thought of giving it a go (before I knew the price).
I bought the GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment, honestly I think its way too over priced for a face mask (£42), but I still bought it and honestly I love it, it feels very cool on the skin and a small amount does honestly go a long way. My skin feels amazing after using it and leaves my skin hydrated.
Benefit is my all time favourite brand, it was the first brand I actually bought skincare from and will always remain number one as you can see from todays post there is a few Benefit products that I gravitate towards.
This year ive been more and more concern with ageing skin, specially since I just turned 25 I’m trying to get a skincare routine to stop any sign of ageing or even slowing that process down.
Instant Comeback Facial Serum helps with tired and dehydrated skin, the fast absorbing formula with tri-radiance complex helps protect agains the visible signs of ageing. This has helped my skin feel more plumped and hydrated and also leaving my skin feeling smoother and firmer.
The Botanics Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm 97% Organic, has to be my favourite products of all times. It honestly works wonder and I couldn’t live without it and I am already on my second bottle.
I use this products to remove my makeup at the end of the day, I use a small amount and massage into my face and neck. It removes any trace of dirty and makeup from the day, then using the cloth it comes with or any face cloth soak it in warm water and gently compress to draw out impurities and remove any raining balm. I then finish by soaking the cloth in cold water and pressing it gently over my face to close pores.
It is recommend to use day and night but currently been using it at nights and it still works great, gives my skin a nice glow and leaves it feeling smooth. I do say that the cloth does get dirty after one use so you do have to use a different cloth every night when using this product.
I needed a new face moisture and I been looking around but just didn’t seem to find the right one that actually hydrated my skin and didn’t leave my skin feeling tacky after using. I then thought why not try out the Benefit Total Moisture facial cream, which I’ve never tried before.
What they say about their products: ”This facial cream provides concentrated hydration for a radiantly refreshed complexion. Our exclusive tri-radiance complex helps develop the skin’s water reserves and reinforces the moisture barrier. Contains mango butter, a natural plant-based emollient known to provide moisture.”
This hands down is an amazing moisturiser. it had a thick consistency and a small amount goes a long way, learned this after my first use. it instantly leaves the skin feeling hydrated.
If you remember at the banning I mentioned about Boots doing a 3 for 2 offer and buying Soap & Glory products well this body scrubs was part of that offer that I got.
The Scrub ‘Em & Leave ‘Em body scrub, with babassu oil, sea salt and moisturising jojoba and mandarin oils. Scented with our Mist You Madly™ fragrance the same as the body wash.
This is not a very strong scrub, ideal for a regular use which is great as it won’t be harsh on the skin. At the beginning the smell can be too much but you quickly get used to.
Of course the last product had to be a Benefit one, this Moisture Prep toning lotion is great, it allows the skin to fully optimise the benefits of your moisturiser, it contains vitamin E acetate, natural oat and meadowsweet…botanical extracts known to purify & smooth the skin and help reduce fine lines. This specialized formula contains a blend of aloe leaf and yeast extract known to clarify & soothe the skin.
I use this when my skin needs that extra step of extra radiance. Leaves the skin feeling prepared and ready for moisturiser and makeup.
I’m always trying to find new skincare products, specially now that my skin isn’t getting any younger and I’m in my mid 20s (sad to admit) I need to start taking care of my skin so I’m currently on the look out for new products, specially since I’m no beauty expert or know whats the best for the skin but I do know what works for me with every trail and error I make with it.
