After we did our hike around Plitvička Jezera National Park we headed straight to our second location in Biograd na Moru, which took over three a half hours to get there by coach. We did have to change over in Zadar to catch the next coach to Biograd which from there we took a taxi to the hotel has it was quiet a distance to get there with another bus and then over 40 minute walk maybe more.
We arrived at our Luka Hotel & Resort around 6 to 7Pm, as soon as we checked in we headed to our room to unpack and then headed to the restaurant to eat dinner.
After we ate we decided to take a walk along the resort beach where we managed to catch the sun setting and also getting to know the resort.
Our next day started off right, we got up and headed to the breakfast buffet that was included in our stay. We honestly ate everything we could get our hands on, the food was so nice and very similar to the breakfast we had in Crete.
We decided to go back to our room and get changed for a day at beach in the resort, we managed to find the perfect spot to sunbathe that was quiet with an amazing view of the ocean and the resort but we ended up finding that it wasn’t the good spot to swim in as we picked the part where it was filled with rocks so it became hard to swim in. It wasn’t until the second day in the resort when we found where the good place to swim was.
Majority of the time we ended up going into the swimming pool which we had to our self a couple of times, towards the end of holiday we notice there was an outside swimming pool around the side to the indoor one which wasn’t used by anyone.
Before we came to Croatia we had planned so many things on our 3rd day, we planned on visiting split where they filmed parts of Game of Thrones and doing a lot of exploring but once we got to the resort we honestly didn’t want to leave, we had everything around, restaurant, pool and beach. I think it’s down to the fact we was so tired from our trip in Plitvička that we just wanted to chill.
On our last day was my 24th Birthday, we spent it by going for a swim before heading back into our room and packing all our clothes. We then booked a taxi to Biograd na Moru town where we walked around and took some nice photos but sadly it got deleted and we can’t find it anywhere, from there we took a coach to Zadar airport which took less than an hour to get to.
